01 / Work

Built for a company that does new builds, additions and site work

Warner Homes · General contractor, southeastern Connecticut

One clear site for a contractor who does it all

The problem
Warner Homes handles new construction, additions, remodeling, site work, concrete and landscaping, with licensed electric, HVAC and plumbing crews in house. That range is an advantage, but it is hard to show on a website without burying the visitor.
What I did
I rebuilt the site around a clear service menu, a four-step process from estimate to inspection, and an FAQ that answers pricing and timeline questions before anyone has to ask. Every page leads to a free written estimate, and the local SEO targets the towns they work in: Mystic, Groton, Waterford, Stonington and East Lyme.

The result

Ranks on the first page of Google for “general contractor” searches in southeastern Connecticut.

Tampa Welding · Welding, Tampa, Florida

From hard to find to the first page of Google

The problem
The old site was cluttered and hard to navigate. Visitors had no obvious way to get in touch, and the business was close to invisible to people searching for a welder nearby.
What I did
A full redesign with a cleaner layout, plain wording, a page for each service and a clear next step on every page, built on a local SEO foundation for the Tampa area.

The result

The site began appearing on the first page of Google for local welding searches shortly after launch.

“Tristan made the whole process easy. The website looks professional, and we've had more people reach out through the site since it went live. Really happy with how it turned out.”

02 / Ownership

Own your construction website instead of renting it

Many website companies that sell to builders bill every month and keep the site if you ever stop paying. This is how I work instead.

CostTypical monthly plan: A monthly fee for as long as the site stays upWith me: A one-time price, starting at $1,500. Hosting is $20 a month, or use your own
OwnershipTypical monthly plan: Provider owns your website and can terminate it at any timeWith me: Yours. The domain is in your name and you get the code and content
CommitmentTypical monthly plan: Often a minimum termWith me: None. Leave any time and take the site with you
DesignTypical monthly plan: Usually a template shared with other buildersWith me: Designed around your projects and the type of work you take on
Who you talk toTypical monthly plan: An account rep or a support queueWith me: Me. I do the work and I answer the email

Other developers have their own ways of working, and plans vary by provider, so check the ownership and cancellation terms in any contract you're offered.

04 / How it works

From first message to launch in about three weeks

  1. Step 1

    Talk

A short call or a few emails about your business, your customers and what the site needs to do. You get a written proposal with scope, timeline and price.

  2. Step 2

    Research

I study how your customers search: the keywords, the competitors and the towns that matter. That research shapes my recommendation for the pages and what goes on them, and you have the final say.

  3. Step 3

    Design

I design by building on a private staging link, so you see real pages on your own device instead of static mockups, and I refine them with your feedback.

  4. Step 4

    Build

With the direction settled I build out the remaining pages, connect your forms and email, and keep adjusting until it's right.

  5. Step 5

    Launch

I handle go-live on my hosting or yours, connect the domain, and walk you through the finished site. Everything that's yours can be handed over any time you ask.

06 / Who you'll work with

One person, start to finish

I'm Tristan Parrish. I started Parrish Design in 2022 after seeing how many businesses had websites that looked fine but weren't helping them grow.

I handle every project myself: the research, the design, the code and the launch. That means I understand your business, your customers and your competitors before I build anything, and you talk to the person doing the work from the first conversation onward.

I take on a small number of clients at a time. As a solo business, every site I build has my reputation behind it.

07 / Questions

What construction companies usually ask

What makes someone more likely to request an estimate?

Photos of finished jobs, clear licensing and insurance details, and reviews. People hiring a builder are spending real money and take their time comparing, so a site that shows the work and answers their questions gives them less reason to keep looking.

How long does it take?

Most projects launch in about three weeks, which is what Warner Homes took. A bigger build with many service and location pages takes longer, and your proposal includes a timeline before anything starts.

We already have a website. Is it worth rebuilding?

Send it over and I'll tell you what I think is getting in the way, whether or not you hire me. If pages on your current site already bring in search traffic, the rebuild is planned around them and every old address is redirected to its new page, so that work isn't lost.

Do I own the website when it's finished?

Yes. The domain, the code and the content are yours. If you need a domain, I register it in your name. If you already have one, it can stay where it is or be moved, whichever you prefer. Everything I build stays with you if you ever decide to work with someone else.

Will my site show up on Google?

No one can guarantee where a site ranks, and I won't tell you otherwise. What I can do is build the foundation properly: pages with real detail on what you do, fast load times, clean structure, and content built around the terms your customers search. From there, rankings also depend on your competition, your Google Business Profile, your reviews and links from other reputable sites.

What if I don't have photos or content ready?

That's normal and it doesn't hold up the project. Planning includes a content map, so you know exactly what each page needs. You can write the copy with my guidance, send me what you already have, or have me draft it for you to edit. I work with the photos you have and suggest options where there are gaps.

What does it cost after launch?

Hosting and maintenance is $20 a month. It covers managed hosting with SSL, automatic backups, security updates and light support, and it's optional if you already have a host. If you want monthly content updates and a report handled for you, the optional care plan is $50 a month.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Tampa, Florida, but work remotely with businesses across the U.S. Calls, design reviews and launch can all happen online, and if you're in the Tampa area I'm happy to meet in person. You deal with me directly the whole way.

What if I need more than 10 pages, online booking or a store?

Then it's a custom quote. Tell me what you need in the form and I'll price that project specifically.
